Description: Migrants are a growing group in formal educational institutes in Finland. At best participation in non-formal adult education helps the integration of migrants and prevents social exclusion. How to reach the different migrant groups within the scope of the studies? How are the different backgrounds of migrants been taken into account when designing non-formal adult education courses? What messages the adult educators have for policy-makers? The workshop gives the opportunity for adult educators to share ideas and engage in cooperation with others in the same field. The workshop collects messages from practitioners to the policy-makers and presents them to policy-makers in another event in March.
